Mr. Maghami founded Harbor Ridge Capital and leads all facets of the group’s M&A and capital raise activities, including managing transaction processes, client management and business development. Prior to Harbor Ridge Capital, Mr. Maghami was a co-founder of Shackleton Equity, a middle market private equity group focused on acquisitions of distressed assets and companies in technology verticals. Prior to Shackleton, Mr. Maghami was a private equity investor with Kayne Anderson Private Investors, a growth-oriented private equity fund with over $500 million under management. During his tenure, Mr. Maghami was instrumental in the group’s execution of over 20 transactions, totaling over $300 million of invested capital, including transactions in IT solutions, software, and online marketing. Mr. Maghami is licensed with Series 79, 82 and 63. Further he earned a B.A. degree in literature from the University of Southern California. Outside of work and on the weekends, Mr. Maghami enjoys seizing the day, including spending time outdoors hiking, going to the beach, taking a nice drive along the coast and spending time with his dog Serena.
Cameron is responsible for supporting Harbor Ridge Capital’s M&A advisory and buy-side activities, which includes leading the group’s business development efforts. Prior to Harbor Ridge Capital, Cameron was an investment professional with Brook Venture Partners, a Boston-based, technology-focused private equity firm. Cameron oversaw new deal and add-on acquisition origination, including evaluation and transaction execution. He originated and completed deals in Managed IT Services, Healthcare IT and Marketing Technology. In addition to this, Cameron worked with portfolio company
Kyle is responsible for performing industry and prospective client research, financial analysis and supporting business development. Most recently and prior to Harbor Ridge Capital, Kyle worked at a boutique wealth management firm in the Bay Area where he assisted with client relations and database management. Kyle attended University of Southern California for a BS in Business Administration and Computer Science. Beyond work, Kyle enjoys mountain biking, surfing, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors.
James is responsible for performing industry and prospective client research, financial analysis and supporting business development. Most recently, he worked at a small cap value manager in the Bay Area where he cultivated his passion for finance and honed his critical thinking skills assisting the investors in creating investment theses for portfolio companies. Additionally, James worked at the Trill Project, a technology social enterprise, on strategy and execution. James attended University of Southern California for a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Mathematical Finance. In his free time, James enjoys going to Trojan football games, cooking, and playing poker with friends.
Head of CFO and Controller ServicesKevin is responsible for supporting Harbor Ridge Capital’s Outsourced Controller & CFO Services. His primary focus is on providing accounting support and oversight to ensure companies have reliable and timely financial reporting, which can be used by business owners to manage their business and present a clear financial picture to potential buyers, investors, and other external parties. Prior to Harbor Ridge Capital, Kevin worked at multiple public accounting firms where he performed outsourced Controller & CFO services, audit readiness & due diligence support, financial statement audits of publicly traded companies, tax return preparation for partnerships & corporations, and accounting systems implementations. Kevin has worked extensively with privately held businesses in all stages of their lifecycle, from start-up to growth to exit, and ensures that the financial and accounting reporting meets the needs of business owners along the way.
Kevin earned a BS in Accounting from Miami (Ohio) University where he graduated magna cum laude. Outside of work, Kevin is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing basketball, soccer, and football.
Chief Compliance Officer of Ashland Securities
Mr. Jordan is the President of Ashland Securities, the principal of Harbor Ridge Capital’s Broker Dealer. Prior to founding Ashland Securities, he was the president, founder and chief compliance officer of BA Securities, LLC. Established in 2010, BA Securities was one of the first independent broker-dealers designed to cater to independent Investment Bankers and Placement Agents. Mr. Jordan successfully sold the company in 2016. Prior to founding BA Securities, he was a partner at Creative Financial Group, a 45-year-old wealth management firm which focused on strategic planning for middle market businesses and their shareholders. At age 25 he became the youngest Masters Qualifier in New England Financial’ s 174 year history. He has advised numerous closely held businesses with regards to risk management, capital structure, and strategic financial planning.
Mr. Jordan received a B.S. in finance from Florida State University and was a member of the Golden Key and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. Mr. Jordan holds Series 6,7,24,27,63,79 and 99 Licenses.
